Modding an arcade 1up cabinet can be a fun and rewarding experience. Building an A1up cab sets the stage for taking things further unlocking the full potential to play hundreds of retro games and even more modern ones depending on how you do it. For most people it usually goes pretty smoothly. If you do your research and follow arcade cabinet YouTube modding videos you shouldn't have many issues. But for me it was a total nightmare. In this video I go over my experience getting my Street Fighter Yoga Flame Edition a1up cab for Christmas 2023 and building it. My thoughts on arcade 1up cabs in general, to the total disaster I went through with the modding process. And finally, my feelings on whether or not it was worth it to mod it.
