My cats lazily playing and then SMACK ATTACK!!!...and done. π
I walked in the living room late at night to find my two kitties on the couch playing with each other, so I decided to record them and got this hilarious clip π.
Sometimes when playing they just sit and stare at each other frozen in place and then one of them will just attack out of nowhere and run off and it is hilarious when it happens π.
Lily is our younger female orange tabby kitten that we adopted from a shelter a few or so years ago. She was going to be euthanized the day after we got her, so we adopted her before that happened. She was really scared and skittish when we first got her and it took her a while to finally get used to us and be comfortable with us.
She still gets skittish at times and isn't comfortable around other people, so when other people come over she runs off and hides somewhere. But, she is a really nice and cuddly kitty and can be extremely sweet at times. She also plays a lot more than Bookers does. Bookers used to play, but now he's just gotten lazy, but he does play with Lily.
Bookers (aka. Greystone) is our much older (and fatter) male tabby cat that my friend/cousin, Anna, and I found. We were playing outside our house where there was this old barn/shed like building that was extremely old, worn out and was barely standing. These two kittens, one gray and one white with gray spots, like a cow, came out towards us, meowing.
We freaked out over the kittens and soon chose which was whose. Anna claimed the white one with gray spots and I claimed the gray one. They were both male. She named hers "Barney" since we found them in a barn, and I named mine "Greystone" because he was gray. We went out to see them on a regular basis and tried to take as much care for them as we could.
I remember one day Greystone got stuck in a tree and we had to help him get back down and out of the tree π. That was pretty hilarious lmao. But, anywho, I think it was my birthday, but my mom and my stepdad got a pet carrier and drove me down there for a surprise. I remember asking why there was a pet carrier in the back seat.
When we got to the barn, which is not far from my house at all. It's like 100 yards or less, I'm not sure, but that is irrelevant π. They told me to get out and get the kitten, so I did. Then we went to get him checked at the vet and we brought him home. And....that is how I came to have Bookers. Anna brought Barney home as well and has had him ever since.
The only difference is that my cat got really fat π. We've cut down his food a lot, since he throws up all of the time, and I've tried to get him on a schedule of feeding him only 3 times a day. Also, since getting Lily he does play more, so that's definitely good.
