My CLOSEST Encounter with AT&SF Redwood Empire #33 at a Railroad Crossing

8What a lucky break! I was headed in the wrong direction but spotted this old 1923 Pullman Company Redwood Empire being pulled by Amtak. I spun myself around, drove to the next nearest crossing I could get to without a train in sight, and captured this beauty rolling through the crossing!
It looks to be rebranded as Northwestern Pacific, with a fresh coat of paint, and seemingly lost its AT&SF marks!
Thank goodness Amtrak was on the slow approach; otherwise, I would have missed my opportunity! I apologize in advance for the wind. I had to record with what I had available!
