Okay, so the title to this video is kinda a lie. My actual editing process is a lot more disorganized than this. Usually, I do steps 1, 2, and 3 at the same time, working on the clips separately, then just throwing them together. Then I save the file, upload it as a video in a new file, and put the finishing touches on it (ie: steps 4 and 5).

I just thought it'd be more fun to show it in 5 different steps, though. Basically just to show that it takes a lot more than just cleverly places clips to make a good video (especially a good crossover video). I wish I had known that back when I was stubborn and refused to learn how to mask and just stuck with cookie cutter... *Shakes head*

The bonus at the end there actually HAS happened to me before, actually. That being, I rendered a video and left the sound to the clips on. I've also rendered videos with no sound (or music) at all. I play it on as humorous here, but my computer's so slow that I usually have to let them render overnight. So waking up to find it was rendered WRONG, isn't always fun. :P

BUT if you are ever frustrated over editing a video and just need a moment to relax, try turning the music DOWN and the sound of the clips UP and just do a quick watch/listen through. If you share my sense of humor, you might get a kick out of it...maybe. :P Just don't forget to turn it back around before you render it!!
