My experience getting a used Xbox One from Gamestop
This is me talking about my funny experience getting a used Xbox One from Gamestop. Lol
The first one I ordered online, and it arrived with a broken disk drive. I HIGHLY doubt Gamestop sent me a broken Xbox on purpose, it probably just took a bad bump in transit. Anyways, I called customer support, and they said to take it to the closest Gamestop that had it for a swap-out (or I could've mailed it back, but I wanted a in person swap). The people I spoke with were really helpful and kind. ๐
So, the next day, a friend and I went to Gamestop and I swapped it out for a different one..... BUT. It was sealed up in a box and I couldn't actually inspect it (they probably would've let me if I had asked, but I just assumed everything would be in the box). I got home only to discover one of the power cords was missing! ๐ In its place was some printer cord maybe(?). I really don't know what it's purpose was, but not an Xbox cord. Thankfully, my Fender Rumble 25 bass amp had a cord that would work with it, and I used that until I could find another cord to fit the power inverter.
Good news: I'm very happy with my Xbox and it works great. Just make sure to ask if you can inspect used consoles before you buy them. ๐ ๐ฎ
