Hi. This is a clip I was proud of. This might have been the best player I’ve fought in this game so far, so this felt good to take a game off him. Ken is a really hard character to fight against in this game as well. He’s got everything you need basically lol.

But this player was hitting really good combos and drive rushes. So, I’m suppressed I beat him. We played two games, he won the first one and I won the second one. I didn’t rematch though. I wanted to keep my confidence lol. Because it sucks sometimes when you get a good win off a good player and then they win the next 15 f*ucking games in a row. On this particular day I didn’t want to risk that happening to me LOL.

But anyways, this was good because he was keeping good pressure, but I did a good job keeping my cool and playing defensively and not doing any panic moves. At we were scrambling, and I was just trying to take it slow and wait for him to make a move. I was able to catch a DP attempt and get his jump read at the end.

After that jump read, I figured he was going to block, since I covered his other options. So, I was able to get a stun. And I felt good because the combo I did at the end is a combo I labbed out and I was able to pull it off. I’ve been hitting that more consistently now.

But that’s why having a good punish game is important the more you improve. When you get to higher levels, you won’t get as many openings and once you get one, you have to take it as far as you can and kill that mf lol.
