My first Nuzlocke Journey Begins! - Pokemon Yellow part 1
0Welcome to Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition! This was the first game I had and that got me into Pokemon, so I figured why not make it also the first Pokemon game I try a Nuzlocke Challenge with?
Things are gonna be interesting.... My Nuzlocke Rules are Below.

Since this is my first Nuzlocke, I figured I’d take it easy… just dip my toe in you know? Below is the list of rules I have chosen follow.
Nuzlocke rules:
The core rule: if it faints, it’s dead. The pokemon knocked out will be release as soon as I can get to a pc.
Catch the first pokemon in an area I see as soon as I can start catching. If I knock it out or it flees, that’s it! No more catching chances in that area. IF I run into a duplicate in the next area I will “Skip it” meaning I will knock it out or run and it won’t count. I will only allow 3 chances for this. (So If I have a Pidgey and I run into another one in the next area as the ‘first’ pokemon 3 times, that’s it the area is done. I’m doing this because of Zubat reasons.) Also, since there are 4 zones in the safari zone, I will treat each one like a different area, meaning I will give myself the chance to catch 4 pokemon total in the safari zone.
I can only use the standard pokeball, no great or ultraballs. Also, I will allow the use of potions/restores during battle for this run since it’s my first. If I find the game still too easy, I may change this.
Also when catching a pokemon I’m supposed to nickname it. If I forget to, I’ll write it down and take to the name rater ASAP.
No legendary pokemon will be used and battle style will be turned to ‘Set’ meaning it won’t ask me if I wanna change my pokemon.
If I white/black out, it will be a game over unless I have 4 or more badges. After getting 4 badges if I lose a match I will have to release my party pokemon and continue using other pokemon I have caught. This will help me break out of the norm as I tend to use the same pokemon when I replay a pokemon game.
Those are the rules for my first challenge. If I break a rule(s) I forfeit the Nuzlocke challenge and must start over at some point.
