Been a while since my first ever 2 runs were disqualified, but I have been practicing and now I’m back with not only another world record, but a faster time than my original world record! I told you I wouldn’t disappoint ;)

Following my previous disqualified runs, here is a list of the things I did differently in this run:

1 - I went on to the speedrun.com forums and found this page, https://www.speedrun.com/gtav/thread/hnyp0/1#v8n7x explaining that there is no way to get a timer overlay on ps4 without using pc capture cards (as I thought), but the forum suggested a mobile app called “FramePerfect” to time on mobile, which is exactly what I have done.

2 - I have pre recorded footage of me playing this game whilst also showing my hands and controllers as proof that it is possible to click as fast as I do without cheating and using external software (which as I have explained many times before is pretty much impossible to do on ps4 anyway).

Now, some things you might be wondering about this run:

1 - How am I occasionally getting 2 clicks at a time instead of 1? - I have discovered a little thing in this game (not sure if it’s a glitch or not) that allows you to get 2 points from 1 click consecutively for an indefinite amount of time. Because i click so fast it is hard to see when it’s happening, but you can tell I have managed ti do it when the click sound gets louder (because the jar is being clicked 2 times at once).
I am unsure if this is a client side thing or if it’s just in the game. At the moment I am unsure how it actually works, but I think I have found a way to start it relatively consistently (see below)

2 - Why do I keep opening and closing the menu? - As I said above, I have found an exploit/glitch in the game that allows you to get two clicks per click (indicated by the jar making a louder sound). Although I haven’t confirmed how to activate this, I have found that opening and closing the menu quickly and clicking can (in most cases) make the exploit happen, so everytime I open and close the menu, it is me trying to reactivate the exploit.

That about does it then, thank you for waiting so long and hopefully if this run isn’t disqualified (I can’t see why it would be) I will be attempting a 100% run soon!
