Here's a useful tip: You can quickly achieve this by spamming the Cross or Touch Pad button every time your jar jumps. Each button press counts as a tap towards the overall count of 10,000 taps, not just the box hits. So, with every jump, you are not only collecting dollars but also making progress towards the 10,000 taps needed for the trophy.
