My (now-broken) Gaming Desktop Cecil
This is Cecil, my primary desktop as of around a couple of months ago. He's a bit busted (randomly shutting off, likely motherboard damage) and five years old, so I'm going to be building a new machine on Sunday with the release of the Ryzen 3000-series.
I felt like it would be a good idea to have some footage of my previous desktop for comparison purposes. So, have some footage of the contents of my old desktop, I guess?
I had actually made a vlog about this back closer to the time I actually built the desktop, but I never liked the footage and decided to not upload it. This one is less boring due to the random "fun facts" that are probably not that fun. Oh well!
Cecil's specs:
Intel Core i7-4790k (OCed to 4.4 GHz on all cores at base voltage)
32 GB of RAM
2x 1 TB SSD + 2x 0.5 TB SSD (yes, the video and thumbnail say 3.5 TB. I misadded, apparently?)
eVGA Founder's Edition GTX 1080 Ti (not shown in video)
Nanoxia Silence DS4 MicroATX case
Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z97MX-Gaming 5 MicroATX Motherboard
