As a content creator who also dabbles in gaming the New Ryzen CPUs are a good match. I need more cores and threads even if I use Mercury playback engine CUDA cores for rendering... I get nearly 100% CPU usage when rendering with a GTX in my system. MORE threads and cores will STILL help if you do a lot of rendering.
