Being a parent myself i had to scramble to find somewhere to stay to look after my rather ill son and his siblings, whilst their mother was unable to.

During my time with my children my eldest spoke about her responsibilities that her mother had made her undertake and i ask why? what is the point and are we taking away our childrens childhoods by trying to make them assume adult responsibilities?
