In this episode, we present to you a supercut of my performance of the MyHouse.WAD journal entries, written by Veddge for the doomworld forums!
MyHouse.WAD is both a Doom mod, and a work of unfiction, with ARG elements. Along with the game files is a txt file with a series of devlogs that occur over the course of about half a year. Suffice to say this is a sort of… reimagined version of those logs. If you’re on headphones be prepared for the occasional loud or distorted audio.

I had originally bridged the gap to season two of this show with daily uploads of these journal entries for two reasons. First, this podcast began as an entirely videogame-related endeavor, and I don’t see that ever fully changing. Second, because I wanted you to consider:

What is it that makes unfiction or even fanfiction separate from other kinds of narrative?

We’ll see you around, and I’ll leave you with this: Just because something is monetarily free, doesn’t mean it isn’t valuable or worth investigating more deeply. The real anti-capitalism was the friends we made doom maps with along the way, or something like that...
