Myst V: End of Ages is next. I told ya Serenia was going to be a doozy, only because of that frickin' word salad puzzle that is just... there are only two of them, yet they are also the worst executed in my opinion. It's the fact that you can't just pick what base references you want to put those quotes in, and then the tediousness is kicked up a notch by the fact that you have to shuffle those quotes around in a specific order.
I partially used the guide to get the order down, and for the D'ni alphabet.
Actually figured out from the first two D'ni letters in the family name. I can partially read D'ni now, but without a full alphabet, it's kind of pointless, especially in Uru and Myst V.
On the note of realMyst. I thought the lightning conductors in Rime were much more impressive... unfortunately, Cyan seems to have downgraded the effects of the lightning arcing towards the seawater (because the "cable" is the sea itself), and then towards each of the other towers, and the arcing lightning was fully connected to each tower after like 5 seconds of arcs searching for a connection, which then triggered the aurora.
Also, there were only three colors, if I remember correctly.
Here... it's just... not as animated as I remembered.
