I never actually had a chance to play this game when it was new or relativity new, no i first played this game in 2003 and i played the split screen multiplayer. I must say i didn't like it, i didn't like it with passion.
So what do i think after finishing this game in 2017? Well i pretty much hate it and can't understand why people love it so much (of course i understand how powerful nostalgia is), there are few things that i can't stand in this game,
Fore example presentation, even NES had cutscenes, but this game doesn't.
I never know where am i going or barley know what to do.
The game has no recorded voices at all, hell even Genesis had them.
The controls are terrible! terrible!
The graphics make me sick with it's low quality textures, i know this was n64 problem with having very low quality textures but it's hard to play with this stile of game.
The developers some how thought that having completely unlocked frame rate was a good idea, this runs from 3 to 60 fps, sometimes the game doesn't recognize the inputs because of it's fps.
However there are things that are positive in this game, like music or "16:9 wide screen support"
