0This is part 1 of my video walkthrough for Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water's Edge. In this video, we return as famous detective Nancy Drew and we solve a mystery. After solving a lot of mysteries, Nancy finally takes a vacation. (Pfft, like that will ever happen!) Remember P.G. Krolmeister, the gadget inventor from Trail of the Twister well he has invited us to spend time at his favorite ryokan in Kyoto, Japan. Nancy will spend her days teaching English and her nights exploring Kyoto, Japan. (How she is not totally exhausted I will never know!) The ryokan has a reputation for being haunted and we have to figure the reason behind the strange hauntings.
We arrive at the ryokan and are greeted by Miwako, the owner and her grandmother. We get settled in and then explore the lovely rock garden and we get our first cultural lesson trying to write Nancy's name in katakana.
