Immortality is just seven years away, according to former Google scientist, Ray Kurzweil. In a YouTube video, he claimed that humans will achieve immortality with the help of nanorobots. Kurzweil has a record of making accurate predictions, stating in 2005's 'The Singularity Is Near' that technology would allow humans to live forever by 2030. In 2017, he predicted that by 2029 an artificial intelligence would pass Alan Turing's test, equalling human intelligence, and by 2045 merging with that intelligence could multiply human intelligence by a billionfold.
