New Archetype System:

You can buy to 75 overall. (25 bars, no double bars)

CREATE PLAYER:
To start off, every player gets standard badges: corner specialist, defensive stopper, relentless finisher, tireless scorer, dimer
All attribute caps will be 65 to start, can change with wingspan, weight, height
Here’s the kicker, you can only choose ONE archetype, you will be able to develop the other aspects later
The archetype chosen will raise all badges pertaining to it by one level, so if I create a playmaker, badges such as pick n roll maestro, ankle breaker, flashy passer, lob city passer, and flashy passer will be raised to bronze, and dimer will be raised to silver.
In addition, all playmaking stats will be raised by 10, so all playmaking attributes will be 75s. It sounds sucky for now, but that’s what the grind is for. I promise that the builds are better than theyve ever been before.

Now that you have created your player, lets take him on the road to 99!

75 OVR:
Ability to have Pre-game rituals
Own MyTeam Card
Unlock MyCourt Decorations, new balls, walls, scoreboards, do whatever you like
UNLOCK 2ND UPGRADE
Lets take the playmaker I made just now that has all bronze playmaking badges.
If I were to use this upgrade on playmaking, all my playmaking badges will go up to silver, with dimer going to gold, and all playmaking attributes will receive another +10, giving me 85s in all my playmaking stats. I will still have 65s in all my others.
However, if I used the upgrade on sharpshooting, I would get all my sharpshooting badges raised by one level to bronze. In addition, you will get 75s in all your sharpshooting attributes with your playmaking attributes. You will get more of these upgrades later, and they will work in the same way.

This also makes the player play more, since while you are getting to the next overall, there is also badges to grind for, unlike in 2k19 where you finish all your badges at around 90 overall.
