Once inside the planet, the Ark suddenly, and by no will of its own, enters hyperspace towards destination unknown. The crew is confused as to how this is happening, and by fact that the ship is starting commands on its own, only displaying sequence of messages on the visuospatial matrix port. As it turns out, the hyperspace was some kind of a wormhole portal created inside the sphere of Magnus Cerebri, connecting different dimensional planes of planet's existence. The Ark gets into a space that seems to be that is very near the core of the planet, the so-called "Cryptocave", where neuroconnection with planetary consciousness is re-established, and the cryptic entity starts speaking to the humans onboard directly, in a confusing and archaic language.
