Alien Day is an annual promotional event dedicated to the Alien franchise, held on April 26. It is officially organized and promoted by 20th Century Fox. The date is a reference to the moon on which Aliens is set — April 26, 4/26, LV-426.
The event typically involves a multitude of special releases, including novels, comic books, video games, clothing and collectables. As well as physical releases, the day is marked by exclusive announcements, trivia competitions and the return of the classic films in the Alien franchise to theaters around the world. Fox ran the first Alien Day in 2016, additionally marking the 30th anniversary of the release of Aliens, and the event returned in 2017 and 2018. It will do so again in 2019, and 2020

Prepare to be bowled over by the newest addition to NECA’s Kenner Tribute line! The Rhino Alien comes from the classic Kenner Expanded Universe of the early 1990s, and it’s back and better than ever.
Our team took inspiration from the original design, and then transformed it into an all-new modern behemoth featuring all of today’s detail and articulation. Rhino Alien measures approximately 10” and has a massive ramming horn for attacking its unlucky prey.
The packaging is an homage to the classic Kenner art, featuring custom illustrations.
The Rhino Alien is a large Xenomorph variant, created when a Facehugger impregnates a rhinoceros or similar creature (such as a rhynth).Like its host, it sports a muscular stature, as well as a pair of large horns which it presumably uses as a means of attack or defense. The Rhino Alien was impervious to both bullets and fire, the only way of defeating them was to freeze them.
The Rhino Alien's place in the Hive is unknown, but given its large stature and hard carapace it could be a Drone or a Defender of some type. Its rank is probably above a Drones and below a Praetorian. One of the Rhino Aliens in Aliens: Ice Storm was seen acting as a designated Royal Guard.
The Rhino Alien has a similar demeanor to both the Bull Alien and the Crusher (from the 2013 video game Aliens: Colonial Marines), due to the fact that they are all quadrupedal, extremely aggressive and they all ram into their enemies with their massive heads.
