NecroVisioN is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game released in 2009 by The Farm 51 studio. The action takes place during World War I, but the plot quickly veers towards horror and fantasy – in addition to fighting soldiers, the player faces demons, vampires, and the undead. The gameplay combines dynamic gunplay with melee combat and magic. The game features a dark atmosphere, brutality, and spectacular boss fights. An expansion/prequel, NecroVisioN: Lost Company (2010), was also released, unfolding the story from a different protagonist's perspective.
