This is my World Record Run of Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit in Rocky Pass (Forward) for both the best lap category and the total 2 lap time category as well for Simulation Mode. The rules for this category are pretty straightforward as its basically do your best run in a particular track however since i am using a emulator, i have to keep the FPS display on as per their request. Since you are allowed to use any car the El Niño will always be the one used as no other car can match the lap times it can achieve. Rocky Pass is by far the hardest track of the Beginner set of tracks in the game and also the 2nd longest as theres alot of winding corners and very low speed corners as well and in that latter you dont wanna mess then up too much or you will lose alot of time. While this track has alot of slow corners the section after the tunnel is a high speed one so the Gear ratio is setup to both exploit this section alongside the rest of the track. The heavy braking needed after said high speed section needs to be done carefully as that portion of the track is uneven and depending how you brake the car will tend to slide to the wall even with full front brake bias. This caused some resets until i could finally get a record going. The long nature of the track was also a reason for resets as with a difficult and long track as this one mistake will usually result in a bad run.
