Need For Speed: Heat - Part 2 - Shaw Is Such A Douchebag!
Heat continues as Ana has a plan to start building our reputation in Palm City and it involves beating the Speed Boys... However, to do this, we need to upgrade our car and Rep, But nothing can prepare us for Shaw's attitude...
Developed by Ghost Games and Published by Electronic Arts Need For Speed Heat is the twenty-fourth instalment in the series and was released on November 8, 2019, marking the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Set in Palm City, a fictionalised version of the city of Miami, Florida and its surrounding area. Need For Speed Heat does not have a 24-hour day-night cycle instead players can switch between them. By day players take part in legal races that reward them with money used to buy new cars and parts. But at night players take part in illegal street races to earn Rep, the more Rep the player earns the more aggressive the police become with the player needing to escape them and make it back to a safe house to keep their winnings for the night before they are wrecked or they get busted.
Need For Speed Heat contains 127 cars from 33 manufacturers, Ferrari return after being absent from payback while Toyota is absent from heat. Customisation works differently from payback, Speed cards are gone and have been replaced with a more familiar system for a car's performance while visual customisation removed the challenge requirements on visual parts so that players had more freedom. The final new customisation features allow players to modify their exhaust sounds as well as engine swapping to allow lower performance cars to be more useful as they progress through the game.
