Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered | Re-Review - Lazy but Brilliant!
17I think this is the best Need for Speed game ever. I’m hugely biased of course because this was created by many of the people behind the burnout games, which is my favourite racing game series.
Originally released in 2010, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered has improved visuals and includes all the DLC content. At launch I thought it looked like a soulless corporate cash grab. A minimal effort remaster with only minor upgrades and while that is true, but I was blown away with how well this game holds up and I reckon it remains every bit worth playing today as it did 15 years ago!
In this re-review I’ll discuss the updates, compare it to the 2010 game, talk about the various ports and let you know why in spite of it being a fairly lazy remaster it’s still a great game and why I think it’s the Best NFS Game of All Time.
