2012: Following the success of the re-imagining of Hot Pursuit in 2010, Electronic Arts released a unique take on a fan favourite with Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted was a re-imagining of Black Box's 2005 classic. This vision of the game was developed by Criterion Games and would be the last game in the series to be powered by an engine that isn't Frostbite.
