While browsing through Need For Speed: The Run (NFS: TR) mods, my eyes were caught by this mod that lets you have nighttime stage runs. Since there aren't many videos about it, I thought it'd be a good idea to make a full gameplay with the mod and break it down by stages.
Since I'm just having a casual gameplay, I set the difficulty to Normal mode. I also turned off in-game V-Sync to enable higher framerate and locked it to 60 FPS in RTSS software.
DISCLAIMER:
1. The Framerate Unlocker mod was not used during this stage run.
2. About the Brooklyn cutscene... Well, I have a confession to make. The TOD Randomizer actually worked for it, and it did show nighttime surroundings. Why did I decide to show daytime surroundings instead? It doesn't look right to show the former when it said "8 hours later". Let me put it this way: If you did a night race (endurance racing fan, anybody?), you don't expect the next eight hours to be in the same dark condition as the start, do you? Also, the Embarcadero was only shown during the day, which would make a perfect time loop. Even with TOD Randomizer enabled before the run, it won't trigger the night condition.
P.S. I will show the difference between them in a separate video, so watch out for it.
