The predatory Neovenator salerii attacks some Iguanodon bernissartensis in the subtropical forests of Early Cretaceous Europe around 125 million years ago. Although a medium-sized theropod itself, with a light build and a body length of 23 feet, Neovenator would have been related to much larger, later predators like the Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus.
