Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters, of the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, has been censored. Idea Factory has announced that they are patching out some 16 instances of bad language from the North American and European English translated version of the game for PS4, PS5, and PC (via Steam). Idea Factory has indicated that this is so that the comply with the T (Teen) ESRB rating. Are we about to reach a new level of censorship? This doesn’t make sense when other JRPG’s and Japanese games are getting translated with similar language, getting the T rating, and not having any issues. It’s possible that there is a conspiracy going on. In this video, we research and take a look at what is going on and compare the issue to a similar issue that occurred with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, when that game had its rating changed from M to T.
