NES Classic Edition Gameplay (Castlevania) | Rare Nintendo Console Worth it?
Playing Castlevania on Nintendo's very rare console, the NES Classic .
The games and gameplay makes the classic console absolutely worth it.
Castlevania gameplay is top notch! Nintendo has graced us with another amazing console that shows classic retro gameplay still rocks!!
In this video I am playing Castlevania on my shiny NES Classic.
There are so many games I could have chosen like Zelda or Mario?? The choice came down to a favorite memory of mine when I first completed Castlevania back on Christmas night 1986 at 2:00 am after losing to the Grim Reaper because my NES had frozen!! Determined (The Game Is Never Over) I restarted and beat the game!! Its a great memory and an important lesson in life! I got Catlevania for my birthday in 1987 and I was in 7th grade and this game was Next Gen!! It played, looked, and sounded amazing Konami has always been know for their awesome games and music (Think Metal Gear | Castlevania Symphony of the Night). Castlevania is one of Konami's most successful and prominent franchises; several of its entries are ranked among the best video games ever made. The animated television series is also a critical and commercial success..
NES Classic Edition
Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition, known as Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System in Europe and Australia and Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer (Japanese: ニンテンドークラシックミニ ファミリーコンピュータ) in Japan, is a dedicated home video game console by Nintendo, which emulates the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It launched on November 10, 2016 in Australia and Japan, and November 11, 2016 in North America and Europe. Aesthetically, the console is a miniature replica of the NES, and it includes a static library of 30 built-in games from the licensed NES library, supporting save states for all of them.
Hardware
The NES Classic Edition is a dedicated console for emulating 30 Nintendo Entertainment System games. The console is distributed in two variations; one for Japan, featuring the likeness of the original Famicom, and one for the rest of the world, which looks like the original NES. For the non-Japanese variation, all of the games are based on their US release, running at 60 Hz and using the names by which they were released in the United States. The console's user interface supports up to eight languages.
Internally, the console uses an Allwinner R16 system on a chip with four ARM Cortex-A7 central processing cores and an ARM Mali 400 MP2 graphics processing unit. It includes 512 MB of flash storage and 256 MB of DDR3 memory. For video output, the system features an HDMI connection, which puts out 720p at 60 Hz video for all games.
The controllers in the international version of the console feature the Wii Nunchuk's connector, which allows the controller to be connected to the Wii Remote for use with Virtual Console games on the Wii and Wii U. Accessories for the Wii such as the Classic Controller may be used with the NES Classic.

Castlevania History
Castelvania is a gothic horror action-adventure video game series and media franchise about vampire hunters, created and developed by Konami. It has been released on various platforms, from early systems to modern consoles, as well as handheld devices such as mobile phones. The franchise has expanded into other media, including comic books, an animated television series, and several spin-off video games. Castlevania is largely set in the eponymous castle of Count Dracula, the main antagonist of the Belmont clan of vampire hunters. It debuted with 1986's Castlevania for the Nintendo Family Computer Disk System. The first entry and the majority of its sequels are side-scrolling action platformers, and were succeeded by the 1997 game, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Originally released for the PlayStation, it returned to the nonlinear gameplay seen in Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, which introduced RPG elements and exploration. Several installments later adopted Symphony of the Night's gameplay, and along with Super Metroid, it has popularized the Metroidvania genre. 2010 saw the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, a 3D action-adventure reboot of the series developed by MercurySteam and Kojima Productions.
