This game was developed by TXC Corporation and originally released in mainland China in 1992, under the original name of Thunder Warrior. A year later, Gluk Video re-released the game in Spain as 'Gluk the Thunder Warrior', where the hero was replaced by a green mascot named Gluk, which was used in their logo for the games they distributed in Spain (only this game includes the Gluk Video logo in-game, others had it printed in box only).

Differences are: player's sprite, title screen got changed too, also that credits were translated to English, as opposed to the original game which had them in Chinese.
