Anybody who has ever tried to speed run this game knows how difficult and frustrating it can be because of not only the game's high difficulty, but also because of the luck needed for the pass locations. I FINALLY had a good run going - all 3 passes in the right locations, survived to stage 6, was near the very end and on pace to break the old record by a good 30 seconds, and then this is what happened.

Game was played on an RGB-modded front-loading console with an original NES controller and captured via an Epiphan DVI2USB capture device over VGA, upscaled to 720p by an Audio Authority 1366 HD upscaler.
