Today I’ll be reviewing another original film from our friends over at Netflix, called Hold The Dark.

Directed by Jeremy Saulnier and starring Jefferey Wright, Alexander Skarsgard, Beckam Crawford, Riley Keough, Julian Black Antelope and Conor Boru, Hold the Dark is a Dark, Adventure, Thriller, Mystery Drama I guess.

Here is how netflix describes it: After the deaths of three children suspected to be killed by wolves, writer Russell Core is hired by the parents of a missing six year old boy to track down and locate their son in the Alaskan WIlderness.

Like most movies I watch, I chose this film for yes, a very specific reason. The actors, specifically jeffrey wright and alexander skarsgard. Jeffrey Wright is definitely one of my all-time favs. I mean he’s been in just about everything I mean; Westworld, Hunger Games, Boardwalk Empire, Bond films, the list goes on. Legit one of the best.

And ever since Alex came into my world via the over-the-top and ridiculous vampire series True Blood, lets just I’ve been a fan. Suki!

Anyways, I’m here to talk about Hold the Dark. More like hold my beer while I take a shit and play angry birds on my phone while this garbage ass movie plays in my living room. What nonsense was this? UUUGGGHHHHH

Why? Why? Just why?

Okay maybe im being a little harsh because there were moments of the film that were rather epic af.
