This video revisits Nether's final release. Although I hated my original launch day release I was impressed by the company's treatment of negative publicity.
These folks received unwarranted negative comparisons to War Z and handled the situation perfectly. I was approached by a developer and apologized to in private for my negative install experience.
Once I played Nether I spent hundreds of hours surviving like a true carebear. I was able to play with groups of 5 and 6. The buddy system made it easier to group up.
Unfortunately, the game is nothing more than a PVP gankfest set in a Fallout static environment with PVE and Co-op elements added as an afterthought. Most of the in-game bugs I encountered on day 1 are still there.
The game is worth $5 on a Steam sale. I'd encourage people to watch videos and give it a try. Most people will not be able to get past the War Z experience of losing all your stuff and work every time you die.
