[Neural Cloud] Springtime Ruckus Brilliant Lights Extreme - Vee + Persicaria + Millau Arma 3 Start
Springtime Ruckus' main stage, Mayhem on the Green, is a multi layer stage where you start out with limited dolls and get more reinforcements as you progress. Sounds familiar? Yep, this is exactly the same as Inverted Mordent Resonance.
There are 6 stages, and each of them has 4 difficulties. Since I love the IMR format, I am going to clear all 6 stages on Extreme. Now, you're wondering, why should you play on Extreme at all, since there are no achievements for clearing Extreme?
- You get more currencies per run, so you do less runs overall
- To flex that you're good at the game
- Youtube views farming, as is the purpose of this video
So, what are the pre-requisites to running Extreme?
- Have sufficient progress in Survival Strategies. The more, the better. If you are at 49/49, you will most likely be able to breeze through Extreme
- 3 good starting dolls. Many combos work, but I like to run Vee, Persicaria and Millau Arma 3, because waifus
So, which Selectable Protocol to use? You can make use of any of them, but I am a proud function hoarder, so I will definitely always run with Extra Baggage. For the same reason, I will always take +1 function slot and +50 cache coins at the end of every layer.
General strategies I use:
- Go hard on Advanced Conflict Zones. These zones give you 30 Cache Coins, an Ultimate and a Positive Protocol. All of these are essential for making your attempt as smooth as possible
- Go hard on Trading Areas. That's the only realistic way to complete function sets. With enough function sets, you can brute force pretty much all the stages here
- Take Anomaly Areas when I can. You almost always get good stuff from them.
- Plan out the various function sets you choose to use depending on which reinforcement dolls you get. I have different sets of functions I'd use depending on which dolls I get, and I have them pretty much memorized
- Deposit your cache coins on the second last layer with Overclock. This will give you tons of cache coins to use on the last layer before the boss fight
- Use your second free Overclock on getting a function right before the boss fight. This allows you to complete function sets and go over the function slot cap for the boss fight
I typically run:
- Imploding Doomsday. Carnage Seals and Enhancement Seals go brrrr
- Soulbreaker Flash. This set gives your team buffs whenever someone crits
- Desperate Raze. Since I normally pick up Chelsea Arma 1 as a reinforcement, this set works well for me
- Vulnerability Exploit from the Violent Surge set. The rest of the set is useless against the final boss, but might be useful along the way
- Hashrate Repair. Millau is immortal if you have this set
- Lethal Combo. I only pick up this set if I pick up Daiyan
- Efficiency Accumulation. I only pick up this set if I pick up Turing
- Structural Embrittlement. I only pick up this set if I pick up Daiyan and I have spare function slots available
In Brilliant Lights, you fight Nian. Unlike Odile, Odette or the Nian in Algo farming, this Nian is lethal and will kill you if you're unprepared. You have a few options. The first option is to instadelete Nian before it uses any skills. However, if you cannot do that, you need to be aware of its two skills:
- Daunting Roar is its AoE attack. Unlike Algo farm, this Nian's Daunting Roar can easily cause a team wipe. A few ways to counter this are teamwide shielding (Millau, Turing, Choco ults) and invulnerability/stealth (Nanaka, Simo ults). Evelyn ult might be able to save you here too (never tried it). Or just use really tanky warriors, idk
- Howling Assault will instakill the doll with the lowest HP. For this, either you use invulnerability/stealth (Nanaka, Simo ults) or you bring dolls that have summons (Turing, Undine) to take the attack
Even with counters to Nian's two skills, you will still need enough DPS to quickly end the fight, because you cannot afford to drag out the fight against this Nian
Note that the first 4 layers for Brilliant Lights is actually a lil bit hard. Your dolls might just start dying randomly if you don't pay attention!
