This is from a DVD that Wideload Games made in the early 2000s to pitch their game concept "Zombie" to potential publishers. This video contains both of the videos that were on the disc, as well as the main menu.

This concept became the 2005 video game "Stubbs The Zombie," which released on the original Xbox, PC, and Mac. Stubbs was later ported to PS4/5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch by Aspyr Media, who also originally published the game.

Stubbs was made by a number of Bungie veterans from Marathon, Myth, and Halo: CE. The game's soundtrack was even composed by Michael Salvatori, the famed composer of Halo and Destiny. None of his music appears in this video pitch, but you can find all of his music for the game on my channel.

This is a continuation of my efforts to document the works of Wideload Games. Wideload made some fantastically interesting games in their time, and the people who worked on these games, almost all of whom originally worked at OG Bungie, deserve to have their stories told. Much more on this front will come with time.

For now, enjoy the humble origins of Stubbs The Zombie.
