The new Hail of Verglas unique helm transforms Ice Shards to shotgun projectiles in a spread. The playstyle is fun, but the build feels a bit weak and needs more damage. Hopefully, we see some generous buffs for Patch 2.2.0 before Season 8 starts.

No Boss Powers from the Season 8 theme were used. I wanted to test the build's performance without being carried by the overtuned seasonal power. Paragon, glyphs, and aspects are maxed out. Gear affixes are 90% optimized, with 2 out of 3 ideal masterwork bonuses.
