The new iPad (3rd Gen) features LTE networking. This video compares Verizon's network to ATT 3G and Verizon's 3G service, plus a comparison to a Samsung LTE MiFi. As it turns out, the LTE performance is very good, and since the Verizon model acts as a hotspot with for no additional charge, it also makes for a better MiFi solution.
