1,706On top of all the other similarities we've already covered in the past, these new leaks show us You can pick your loadout that you'll lose on death and have a finite amount of items, the persistent stash is all but confirmed, there's different factions you have missions for, you can't solo que while it's POSSIBLE there isn't skill based matchmaking but don't hold your breathe on that one and there's hidden stashes you can farm around the locations. Also incase anyone cares there's a reference to a zombies mode as well but I don't think it's connect to DMZ we'll have to see if that's it's own thing or what. ANYWAY I'm just going to go ahead and call it right now that DMZ is the closest thing we have and possibly will ever see to an actual AAA studio attempt at a clone of Escape from Tarkov. Huge emphasis on the AAA part because even though I'm now using the word clone here it's really a genetically modified clone. As DMZ and EFT WILL NOT play the same they just wont be the same level of realism, immersion and grit. However if you put some billionaires that wanted to invest in a game, in a room and pitched an idea of an as inclusive and as profitable as possible Escape from Tarkov - DMZ is what you would get, I'm now certain of it.
