New LFR Raid - Curse of the Second Boss?

So, new raid out and I drag my casual self back into the LFR fray. And, I'm now starting to see a pattern. With one exception, the last five raids have had a second boss I'd rather avoid. For some reason, the second boss in LFR raids these days seems to have something about them which invites wipes in a way other bosses don't.
