Defending your base is a vital skill in 7 Days to Die.
But with the NEW ALPHA 17 released, the old systems of base design and defense blocks have changed.
Spike defenses have always been and still are crucial to a good defense. Placing them around the walls of your base can give you extra protection when a hoard, or worse a blood moon hoard, comes your way!
But there is a new kid on the block. METAL SPIKES!
Crafted from FORGED IRON and made to be much sturdier than the original wooden spikes, they are a new level of spike defense!
My question is, are they stronger against attacks but weaker at dealing damage?
What is the catch for having a sturdier spike?
Or are wooden stakes, WOOD SPIKES, still the ultimate in base defense?
