Your story begins in the Thelyok region. You are a normal kid who lives in Pueblo Jazmín with your mother and your little brother. Like all the young people in Thelyok, you are required to be in school until the age of 18 in a coaching school, to fulfill every child's dream of becoming a Ranger. (The Rangers would be a kind of soldiers, who are responsible for defending the region with the help of their Pokemon). One day, the director of your school quotes you and your friends in his office, to talk about your poor academic results. There, you are told for the first time about the Regional Recruitment (Or also RR). The RR is an alternative to the routine schooling that most kids of your age spend. During the RR, those doing it will have to travel throughout the region, defeating the 8 gym leaders, with their own Pokemon team. So, after receiving your initial Pokemon from the director, you begin your journey throughout Thelyok. But not everything is going to be rosy, since during your trip you will encounter a lot of adversities, and little by little you will discover the history of your region.
