The fastest way to coin farm in the game. Choose the Mushroom Pack. Reset until you get Mushroom-1. Make sure you have a Gold Flower handy. Touch the midway flag to extend the time.

Then make your way to the underground portion and do the Koopa 1-Up trick. Make sure to only take about 900 coins from the Koopa or you'll kill it. Leave area & repeat the method. Then rush to the Flagpole and touch the top to double your coins.

Getting Mushroom-Ghost House next makes things go really fast, since it can be beaten pretty quickly if you know what doors to enter. Just beat the 2nd two stages as fast as possible.
