ESRGAN is a Generative Adversarial Network that reconstructs and upscales lower resolution images and textures into higher resolution counterparts while retaining most details.
RIFE is a Neural Network based video interpolation method that converts videos into higher frame rates by analysing the motion of objects and smoothing out the movement.
This video was created by extracting the FMV from the NTSC Burnout Dominator disc.
This file was processed through ESRGAN with the Manga109Attempt training model.
The output file was then processed through RIFE to achieve 2x frame rate.
