20 days after this viral image of Elon Musk walking into Twitter Headquarters. The true impact of his takeover is finally sinking in. The second wave of employee exodus has hit the micro-blogging platform. Reports suggest that Twitter is set to lose nearly 75% of its remaining 3,700 employees. This is after Musk, sent an email...asking the staff to go highly hardcore. Musk's mail read: “This will mean working long hours at high intensity,”
and that “Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade.” Musk had previously ended the work-from-home regime for Twitter employees. He even asked them to spend at least 40 hours a week at work.
Musk also ended the “days of rest " holidays for Twitter employees soon after he acquired the company.
