Microsoft is looking to bring native support for RGB lighting for PC gaming accessories to Windows 11. This means that users will be able to configure the lighting on their accessories without having to install third-party software. The Windows 11 lighting experience will include options for controlling brightness, effects, speed, and colors and will match the accessories to the Windows accent color. This native lighting support would eliminate the need for users to install apps from companies like Razer, Corsair, and Logitech. The feature has been spotted in the latest public test builds of Windows 11, but the company has not officially announced its support for the lighting yet. Windows 11 is also set to receive third-party widgets and improvements to the audio controls, File Explorer user interface, and Notepad app.
