For the record I think the update they propose in the December update is actually mostly positive, so long as you don't actively play new world right now at end game. So it might be worth returning to pretty soon if you're someone who left before reaching end game or who got to level 60 and stopped playing due to not liking the systems. That being said, there's still just so much funny stuff surrounding new world.
