New Xbox One X BROKEN in less than 2 days
13,654Hi, unfortunately my Xbox One X has broken. I got it on the 7th November and now on the 9th November it refuses to power up. It was working fine and the console has not been moved (or dropped!) to cause the fault.
The power lead is working fine so the issue it with the Xbox One X console itself. I have tried unplugging it for 10 seconds to reset the power supply and unplugging all the cables but nothing makes it work. Hopefully it is not a common issue and I have just been unlucky.
I show in the video how to remove a stuck disc as my Forza Horizon 3 was in the Xbox One X before it went faulty. If you know of this issue or any other issues with the Xbox One X please add it to the comments as a 'Google' search didn't show any issues with the internal power supply or any other faults since release.

UPDATE!!!!! (13th Nov 2017)
I took it back to Smyths (the store I bought it from) the next day after the video and although the website said they were out of stock they had a few in stock because of pre orders that were not collected. They tested the faulty 'X' and gave me another one without any fuss, they said I was the first one to come in with a problem so the issue isn't widespread. This 2nd Xbox One X is so far working well. The only issue I have had with the 2nd one is the HDMI stopped displaying, I unplugged it from the back of the console and then plugged it back in again and it displayed properly again. The HDMI cable (the plug part) did feel very hot!!!!! I am also turning off 'instant on' just in case there is an issue with the PSU. (just being a bit paranoid).
But overall I am happy with it :-)
