New Years 2018 Special: Half-Life VR Test (Custom Weapon Model Test)
47In cooperation with Cliffy (animator), I present a little treat. Over a decade ago I was heavily involved (still am to a lesser degree) that Half-Life modding scene. When I heard that someone was developing a VR version of Half-Life I had to put the code to the test. I'm also actively experimenting with porting mods to it, or rather, streamlining the process to get the dlls to work with other mods. It was also a great test for the Lenovo Explorer running in SteamVR.
Cliffy's animation sets (9mmhandgun, 357/Desert Eagle, Shotgun and M16) were made with biceps in the skeleton and adapt incredibly well to the VR environment. To see more of his work, check out the links below:
