17Welcome to NEXT JUMP: Shmup Tactics my friends! This is a turn-based shoot'em up, or shmup, that is really just fantastic. It combines the turn-based timing and execution of tactical games such as Final Fantasy Tactics or Jeanne d'Arc along with the procedural exploration of FTL into an excellent mix. It took a spell for me to click with it, as you'll see in the video, but once I did I was having a fantastic time, and I can't wait to play more. This just went on sale for five freaking dollars, and at that price, it feels like a steel, because there's a lot here. Not just procedural sectors and what not, but ship upgrades and unlocks out the wazoo. Seriously folks, I can't wait to play more of this, and I think you will really enjoy this. Thanks for watching!
