Between the Ashes - Kick the Tires... - Let's Play Entry 1/5
9Welcome to Between the Ashes my friends! This extensive and comprehensive mod for Freespace 2 finds us in-between the end of the original Descent: Freespace and its expansion, Silent Threat. In this first entry, I take you on a little tour of some of the mod's impressive features, such as an interactive system map and a newsroom, both which add a lot of flavor and texture to the universe you'll be flying around in. The first mission in the campaign, "Warm Welcome", involves helping out a local station with its freighter traffic, but of course things take a turn. So much so that I have to do the mission twice, but it's alright, I didn't mind at all. ;)
